脱硫石膏烘干机简称间歇转筒石膏粉炒锅机，主要由钢结构机座、炒锅、炒锅内装有扬料和导料装置、滚圈托轮和传动机构组成。石膏干燥机安装于炉上，锅体与火焰直接接触对锅体加热，锅体将热量传递给石膏并对石膏进行加热炒制；脱硫石膏烘干机采用间断加料出料，定时炒制的作业方式，该机是我公司在回转烘干机和食品炒锅机技术的基础上专为炒制β-半水模型石膏粉和建筑石膏粉而研制的一种炒锅机。
石膏烘干机(石膏干燥机)主要特点
1、可利用化学石膏（脱硫石膏、磷石膏等）直接炒制成β-半水石膏粉；
2、从工艺上保证了煅烧石膏粉精密控制炒制时间和温度的要求；
3、炒锅机出气口设计合理，运行时无粉尘污染；
4、间歇进出料时可压火停炉，再次开炉3分钟后炉火可投入正常运行；
5、配套煤气炉或沸腾炉供热，其尾气余热可回收利用(烧开水或加热空气)；
脱硫石膏烘干机(干燥机)工艺
脱硫石膏的应用主流是把它烘干后作为水泥的缓凝剂使用；或锻烧成β型半水石膏，用于制造石膏板、石膏砌块、粉刷石膏。
脱硫石膏烘干机(干燥机)的烘干方法：
1、直接气流法
直接气流法是我公司利用传热传质效率极高的“气固旋流”烘干技术自行研究开发设计的一套石膏煅烧工艺装置。该工艺装置具有以下几个方面的技术特色：
1) 可以使用多种热源，如烟道气、煤燃气，也可以用蒸气或其他能源转换的热空气。
2) 设备结构紧凑，投资低，所有的系统工艺参数全部经测试校正，可靠性强。
3) 按气源的温度可进行180℃的低温慢速煅烧，也可以300℃中速煅烧，还可以580℃快速煅烧。
4) 能耗低，煅烧热耗不大于15万kcal/t β石膏。
5) 可以生产干二水石膏也可以生产半水石膏，生产干二水石膏的风温只需120℃，完全可以利用火力发电厂的低温烟气。
2、蒸汽间接法
蒸汽间接法是我公司根据电厂的能源情况和环保要求，自行研究开发设计的一套石膏烘干、煅烧工艺装置。该装置将较易脱出的游离水与难于脱出的结晶水的分置在两台设备中进行，使其更具合理性，也便于产品结构调整和质量控制。该装置可以生产干二水石膏(水泥缓凝剂用)、超优等品β石膏。
该工艺装置具有以下几个方面的技术特色：
1) 单位体积设备的传热面积大，设备结构紧凑，装置占地面积小。
2) 热量利用率高，每吨β石膏粉的蒸汽耗量不超过1t。
3) 用1.0MPa以下的蒸汽作为热源即可满足脱硫石膏烘干要求。
4) 设有余热回收再利用装置，降低系统能耗。
5) 采用永华公司自主研发的石膏卸料器和高效石膏烘干机，它不仅填补了国内空白、还达到了国外同类产品的水平，确保系统高效、稳定运行。
6) 无二次风粉尘污染，尾气排放达到国家环保要求。
