      火山岩（玄武岩）是火山爆发后由形成的多孔形石材，非常珍贵。喷发时喷发出来的岩浆有气体渣、固体岩浆，艳磊石材，温度和压力迅速下降，发生了化学和物理变化，所以岩浆**变成了火山岩。含有大量的硅、钾、钠、铁、镁、26种矿物元素，以及铜、锌、铬、镍、锰等，加热后的火山岩会释放出大量雾状的能量离子同时产生磁效应、温热效应、冷热效应。

      火山岩强度高、保温、隔热、吸音、防水、防火、耐酸碱、耐沾污性、耐腐蚀、耐霉变，且无污染、无放射性等，是理想的天然绿色、环保节能墙面饰材。火山岩质地坚硬如天然石材，涂层表面如多孔蜂窝，质感强烈，装饰性好、耐磨；保温、隔热、吸音，不同骨材搭配，蜂窝多孔，具有一定保温、隔热、吸音作用；防水 ，混成材质，浸泡水中三个无异常变化，防水性**；防火，加有无机粘结剂，高温下不产生浓烟、不脱落、不燃烧，不产生有害有毒气体；耐侯性好，天然彩砂、彩石，颜色自然，不含任何染料，有机与无机混成材质，特殊的接桥结构，可防止因紫外线而引发的劣化，具有无毒、无味、无污染、抗腐蚀、耐酸碱、抗晒、不变色、无放射性等特点；耐沾污性好 ，饰面非平面，视觉上阻断由于大气中灰尘及其他悬浮物质较多，易沾污涂层而失去涂料原有的装饰效果，从而影响建筑物外貌，不易被污染耐水清擦洗。

      火山岩滤料在曝气生物滤池方面不仅能处理市政污水，以及可生化的有机工业废水、微污染水等，也可在给水处理中取代石英砂、活性炭、无烟煤等用作过滤介质，同时还可对已经过污水处理厂二级处理工艺后的尾水做深度处理，其处理出水达回用水标准后可作中水回用。

      火山岩生物滤料主要应用于生物曝气滤池，不仅能应用于市政污水处理、生化有机工业废水处理、生活废水处理，特别是对印染废水、沼气废水、食品加工园区工业废水、石油废水、造纸废水、屠宰厂废水的生物处理有很好的效果；另外火山岩生物滤料是实现曝气生物滤池污水处理工艺的关键材料，本产品与传统的生物陶粒相比，不仅具有质地轻、化学稳定性好、强度适宜、表面粗糙易挂膜等优点，而且孔隙发达，分布合理，非常适合微生物的接种、驯化、繁殖生长、耐冲洗、不堵塞，具有良好的物理、化学和水力特性，可适应于不同污水净化的要求。由于该产品比表面积大，可积累高浓度的微生物量，高浓度的微生物使曝气生物滤池的容积负荷增大，去除率高，单位体积污水处理效率比常规滤料提高5-7倍，可以满足环保排放标准。 

      1、活水——火山岩可以使水中的离子活跃（主要是增加了氧离子的含量）并且可以轻微释放a射线和红外线，这些对鱼儿包括人类都是有好处的。而火山石的消毒作用也是不可忽视的，加入水族箱中，可以有效地防治病患。

      2、稳定水质——这里包含了两个部分：PH的稳定，它可以适当调节过于酸或者过于碱的水自动调整到接近中性。矿物质含量的稳定，火山石有释放矿物质元素和吸收水中杂质的双重特性，当过少或过多的时候，它的释放和吸附作用**产生了。而罗汉起头以及增色时水质PH值的稳定性，是至关重要的。

      3、诱色——火山石颜色鲜艳自然，对于罗汉，红马，鹦鹉，红龙，三湖慈鲷等等众多观赏鱼类都有显著的诱色作用，特别是罗汉有身体与周围物体颜色相靠近的特点，火山岩的红色会诱导罗汉的颜色也逐步发红。

      4、吸附——火山石具有多孔，表面积大的特点，可以吸附水中的有害细菌和对生物体产生影响的重金属离子如铬、砷等，甚至包括一些水中残留的氯。在水族箱内放置火山石可以吸附过滤器吸滤不掉的残渣以及粪便保持缸内的水质清洁。

      5、嬉戏道具——绝大多数鱼儿特别是罗汉都不是多只混养，它们也会孤单寂寞，并且罗汉有喜欢摆弄石头营造家园的习性，所以，重量轻盈的火山石成了它嬉戏的良好道具。

      6、促进新陈代谢——火山石释放的微量元素可以促进动物细胞的代谢，并且带出体内的有害卤化物，清理细胞中的脏东西。

      7、优化生长——火山石还可以使动物体内的蛋白质合成提高，并且增强免疫能力，并且在一定程度上增加罗汉的运动性。这一点在罗汉起头时也有很大的作用。

      8、硝化细菌的培养——火山石的多孔性产生的高表面积是培养水中硝化细菌的良好温床，并且其表面是正电荷有利于微生物固着生长，亲水性强，把水中各种原因产生的对脊椎动物巨毒的NO2和NH4转化成毒性相对小的NO3可以对水质起到极大地改善作用。

      9、水草生长的基质材料——由于多孔特征，有利于水草攀抓和扎根固径，石头本身溶出的多种矿物成分不仅有利于鱼儿的生长，也可以为水草提供肥料。在农业生产中，火山石作为无土栽培基质、肥料和动物饲料添加剂使用。
